allow ourselves to introduce…
ourselves
we are rare bird cocktails and catering. we provide superior cocktail AND food catering. we work with people we like, and the friends of the people we like. we’re not jerks or anything, but we want to have a good time and work with, and for, cool people.
the process…
it’s pretty easy. You order beverage AND food. you choose some cocktails and you choose some food.
we deliver within a 4 mile radius of The Tasty. you can check to see if you fall within that foot print here: GOOGLE.COM
for now, we have a minimum order of $70. and though we don’t have a service fee or delivery charge, but would encourage you to show your appreciation for your bartender-wizard turned bartender-wizard-delivery driver (Chris Almeida!) in the form of a gratuity.
we do have some “fine print” for your review and signature, as we need your assurance that you understand what you are ordering and will make good decisions once your delivery has been made.
HOW DO I MAKE THIS THING??
you can do this!! we’ve included clear instructions and everything you need is here in your delivery, with the exception of ice. ice molds like these can help you up your at home cocktail game. COCKTAIL KINGDOM - need basics check out A BAR ABOVE
we’ve made it easy to follow the directions. if you are uncertain, take a deep breath and go step by step. we’ve made it so there are VERY few of them! but you can call us. we’re pretty accessible.
dilution (water) is an important part of the cocktail. there’s a reason we shake, and it’s not just because we’re working on our biceps. don’t believe us? check this out: SHAKE OR STIR
some of your cocktails may require a finishing touch. enter “the sidekick”. a sidekick is to a cocktail what salt and pepper is to food. pretty good analogy, right? we add bitters at the very end of preparing a cocktail so that the aromatic sea flavor do not get lost. the nuance of a dash of bitters or the aromatics of an atomized spritz are often times what makes a good cocktail a great one!
MORE TO COME
let’s leave this door open. we’ll learn together as we go!
